Hey Love Lyrics

Evelyn, Sharon, Cindy, Jenar, Tyra, SimoneHey love, can I get a rain check?
Just twenty five I'm not ready yet
Hey love let's make a deal
Give me some time I got a few hearts to steal
Hey love got more grounds to gain
Can't get stuck with a ball and a chain
Hey love I need to be sure
Come back and see me in two years or moreI remember as a kid I used to dream
I had a big crush on Sandra's kid sister Jean
She was in love with Dwayne
It's been so many years but I still feel the pain
What about the girl across the street?
Took the same bus I use to reserve her seat
But she would just sit with her friends
And they all talk about guys in bimmers and Benz
(Seem like my luck took a slide)
When Shorty came along and stood by my side
I couldn't give her much but she stayed

Now I'm hittin' all the charts its so easy gettin' laid
Living in style I'm gettin' paid
Hookin' up my peeps with the millions I've made
Now I'm havin' girl who I knew in first grade
Now I'm kinda feelin' like my Shorty's gettin' played
So I'm beggin' youHey love can I get a rain check?
Just twenty I'm not ready yet
Hey love let's make a deal
Give me some time I got a few hearts to steal
Hey love got more grounds to gain
Can't get stuck with a ball and a chain
Hey love I need to be sure
Come back and see me in two years or moreI wasn't popular in school I wasn't popular in sports
All the girls I love, loved the guys on the court
I feel like I been cheated of my youth
'Cause back in the days braces weren't so cute
Girls used to laugh at my suit
Now I got models in bed knockin' bootsHey love can I get a rain check?
Just twenty I'm not ready yet
Hey love let's make a deal
Give me some time I got a few hearts to steal
Hey love got more grounds to gain
Can't get stuck with a ball and a chain
Hey love I need to be sure

Shaggy is the name of, at least, two artists.
1, Shaggy (born October 22, 1968, in Kingston, Jamaica as Orville Richard Burrell), is a Jamaican reggae artist who takes his nickname from Scooby-Doo's companion. He is especially notable for his distinctive sub-baritone voice.

His family immigrated to the United States and they settled in the neighborhood of Flatbush, Brooklyn, located in New York City, New York, USA.

In 1988, he joined the United States Marine Corps and served during Operation Desert Storm during the Persian Gulf War.

On his return from Iraq, he decided to pursue his music career and his first hit in 1993: "Oh Carolina", was a dancehall re-make of a ska hit by the Folkes Brothers. The same year, Shaggy appeared on Kenny Dope's hip hop album "The Unreleased Project". He worked together with producers such as Sting Intl., Don One (who cut his first track), Lloyd 'Spiderman' Campbell and Robert Livingston. He had further big hits, including "Boombastic" in 1995.

He then had a major comeback in 2001, featuring worldwide number-one hit singles "It Wasn't Me" and "Angel," the latter of which was built around Merrilee Rush's 1968 hit "Angel of the Morning" (which was remade in 1981 by Juice Newton). The album Hot Shot, from which those cuts came, would hit number one on the Billboard 200.

However, his 2002 release Lucky Day, and the 2005 album Clothes Drop failed to match Hot Shot's success.

Shaggy performed the theme for Showtime (film), a 2002 movie.

2, Shaggy, a swedish rock/blues rock band from the 1970's. Released one album, "Lessons for beginners"
