High Horse Lyrics

Oh, I can't explain the reason why
The almond lady caught my eye
Well, I don't even know why I try
Just call it sweet mysteryOh, and I don't even know if it's really me
Who tried to see the girl I wanted you to be
So I taste these tears from my eyes
With salty sweet mysterySad lights along the Houston highway
Another man dead from the truckin' game
The very first night you disillusioned my way
Another love dies, and it's such a crying shameOh darlin', I'm feeling the rain fallin' from the stormy skies
When you say you love me, you got tears in your eyes
Whoa, I guess there's no need to say goodbye
It was such a sweet mystery
