Hold On To Me Lyrics

Who am I to say you're wrong
For feeling what you feel
There's something in the way you talk
Like you've forgotten what is real
You don't have to prove you're strong
To face it on your own
Cause it'll steal your breath
It'll wear you out
It'll throw you to the ground. There is a lighter day
Hold on, hold on
It's closer than you let yourself believe
Whoa-oh
When life cuts you like a blade
It's gone so wrong
You can't remember who you?re supposed to be
Hold on, hold on
To meYou can tell me anything
Your deepest darkest fears

I ain't gonna judge you baby
That's not why I'm here
You can lay your burden down
You can lay it down on me
And I'll take it all
I'll lift you up
I'll pass you to the sunThere is a lighter day
Hold on, hold on
It's closer than you let yourself believe
Whoa-oh
When life cuts you like a blade
It's gone so wrong
You can't remember who you?re supposed to be
Hold on, hold on
To meTo everything you're certain of
All the love that's right in front of you
Trouble always has a door
That you can break throughThere is a lighter day
Hold on, hold on
It's closer than you let yourself believe
Whoa-oh
When life cuts you like a blade
It's gone so wrong
You can't remember who you're supposed to be
Hold on, hold on
To meThere is a lighter day
Hold on, hold on
It's closer than you let yourself believe
Whoa-oh
There is a lighter day
There is someone that you can turn to
Hold on, hold on
To me

Bo Bice has music in his blood. Born Harold Bice in Huntsville, Alabama on Nov. 1, 1975, Bo was raised in the south by his song-singing, instrument-playing, music-worshiping parents. He competed in the fourth season of American Idol and was the runner-up to Carrie Underwood.

Bo's first album, titled The Real Thing, was released on December 13th, 2005. It includes several original songs on which Bo shares writing credit such as “It’s My Life”, which Bo wrote with Clif Magness and Kara DioGuardi.

Bo's second album, "See The Light" was released October 23, 2007. It was recorded in his own studio, and under his own independent record label, Sugar Money (teamed up with StratArt for that project). The album was co-produced by Bo and Frank Liddell. The songs (all written by Bo, some in collaboration with friends) reflect a diverse spectrum--from all-out southern rock, country, funk, to emotional ballads.
