Holdin' On (feat. Daisy) [Soularis Sunsoaked Mix] Lyrics

Didn't know (4x)
I would never know,
Didn't know.Hours now seem to fly on by
In the shade of your moonlight.
You left a haze in me,
But still I see.I still keep you in my mind, sometimes.
But soft as black came to be,
The coolest breeze.I was holdin' on to,
What I thought we had.
(Who's gonna get down for me, baby?)
Tryin' to hold on,
Just make me mad
(Oh yeah, but I was done, but I don't mind)
I don't mind (2x)I'm findin' peace of mind
with all the shit we never had,
I stopped pushin' for the future,
to forget the pastBut I still keep you in my mind,
I know sometimes,

Good things will come to those that wait,
Though they always finish lateI was holdin' on to
What I thought we had
(Thought we had our seed, planted in the ground)
Tryin' to hold on,
Just make me mad
(Feel like buildin' dreams, just for tearin' down)
[scat]Oh, baby,
But I'm down--just break we down, down, tenderly.[instrumental]Come here for a minute. What I thought we had,
What I thought we had was better.
Darlin' I don't mind.Didn't know (2x)
(Hey, my baby lied)
Didn't know (2x)
(Oh, my soul gets into ya)Didn't know (2x)
(Hey, my baby lied)
Didn't know (2x)
(Only keeps me lonely)I was holdin' on to
What I thought we had,
(Only keeps me lonely)
Who's gonna get down?Come here for a minute...
