Holding On To Hell Lyrics

You sat on broken hearts
Still I feel, I feel you moving on
And I can't cope, I feel my body burn
I feel it cold, come over youOh, open me babe
Something in the way
Something in the way that you move
You're a little crazy
Something in the way
Something in the way that you move
Put it in boarder
Holding on to hell
Holding ain't no way to know
Eight years the time
Feeling like a hold
Goes around back in hellHear, I'll heal your broken parts
I want you to love, I want you to love me well
But I can't give, I cannot give you allI cannot give you all, no
Oh, open me babeSomething in the way

Something in the way that you move
You're a little crazy
Something in the way
Holding on the way to this hell
Hell doesn't taste good
Dizzy by the days
Dizzy by the days in nowhere
Holding my hand nowSomething in the way
Something in the way
Alright, sitting down, oh, waiting don't you
Break my thoughts
How high is the wave to go indogen
How high this sway to indulge in me more
Oh oh oh baby, something in the way
Something in the way that you move
Oh, oh baby
Holding on to hell I'm holding on to hell as we go
Oh, oh baby
Holding on to hell I'm holding on to hell as we go
Oh, oh baby
Holding on to hell I'm holding on to hell as we go
Oh, oh baby
Holding on to hell I'm holding on to hell as we go

Virginia "Gin" Wigmore is a New Zealand singer/songwriter who was born in Auckland, New Zealand, where she spent most of her childhood. However, while in Argentina at age 16 her father died of cancer. Upon her return to New Zealand, she articulated in song, the pain of losing her father. One of those early penned songs, “Hallelujah”, won the US-based International Songwriting Competition in 2004[2], when she beat 11,000 songwriting aspirants from 77 countries to become the youngest and only unsigned Grand Prize winner in the history of the ISC. "Hallelujah" was also featured in the season 6 finale of One Tree Hill.

Extended Play was Wigmore's first EP. It was produced by Tony Buchen (Blue King Brown, The Whitlams, Macromantics, Kid Confucius) and contains the tracks "Hallelujah", "These Roses", "SOS", "Under My Skin", and "Easy Come Easy Go". Released in 2008, it has peaked at number ten in the New Zealand charts. The EP was certified Gold in New Zealand on June 7, 2009, selling over 7,500 copies.[4]

Extended Play was released in Australia on 2 August 2008 by Island Records. Wigmore was the first artist signed with Island Records, a partner company with Universal Music Group, Australia[3].

The EP features renowned Australian musician John Butler on ukulele on Wigmore's song "SOS".[3]

Wigmore toured with Australian artist, Pete Murray, on his national tour in August/September 2008. Wigmore toured in 2008, including at the Cross Town Revue in Auckland, New Zealand, and in December 2008, toured with musicians John Mellencamp and Sheryl Crow in New Zealand.

Wigmore's sister, Lucy Wigmore, played Justine Jones in the long running New Zealand soap opera Shortland Street.

Recent work has seen her featured in the song and video of the new group, Smashproof, also from Auckland, New Zealand. The song, "Brother", was released in early 2009.
