Holy Quran Lyrics

[Intro]
(Swiff D)
Holy Quran
Holy Quran
Holy Quran
Holy Quran[Chorus]
They want me to change but some things just can't be rewritten
God of gods, light of light, they all true and living
Authentic like this book I hold in palm
With mercy, embrace all things, (through this) Holy Quran
Ho-Holy Quran
Holy Quran
Holy Quran
Ho-Holy Quran
[Verse 1]
They want me to change, want me in reins
Locked up in cage, head full of rage
It's insane, the percentage of my niggas that's gone

And all my niggas that's home, hold your head and stay strong
What's hatnin' in the White House got my black thoughts runnin'
Deeply rooted in this evil, I'm tryna crop out somethin'
And plant these good seeds of mine, hope they see the signs
Why my people dyin' on Vine, swear that Facebook live
Desensitized by murder, murder, bloody murder
Likes and retweets don't help in hands, just all observers
Hype converters, wave surfers, they don't serve no purpose
Government at the service, God save us, we out here livin' worthless
[Chorus]
They want me to change but some things just can't be rewritten
God of gods, light of light, they all true and living
Authentic like this book I hold in palm
With mercy, embrace all things, (through this) Holy Quran
Ho-Holy Quran
Holy Quran
Holy Quran
Ho-Holy Quran[Verse 2]
They tryna crucify me for my originality
They say a man's worth depends on salary
But what's money but selfish ways and no one's proud of me
The ugly truth, got fat pockets and high calories
A gluttonous approach, with a selfish mentality
The wicked ways of sin, I be fightin' all these Jinns
Fake friends, backstabbers, they be knifin' at my skin
I rose from the ghetto without a thorn in my stem
I'm written and unbothered, completely who I'm 'posed to be
Comfortable in my own skin, even if no one notice me
But notably, I'm known as King, someone who control this dream
And broke free of every iron hand that had a hold on me[Chorus]
They want me to change but some things just can't be rewritten
God of gods, light of light, they all true and living
Authentic like this book I hold in palm
With mercy, embrace all things, (through this) Holy Quran
Ho-Holy Quran
Holy Quran
Holy Quran
Ho-Holy Quran

Kyle Myricks (Born in Massillon, Ohio, United States), better know by his stage name Stalley is an American rapper. currently signed to Rick Ross's label, Maybach Music Group, who started his rap career after major injury setbacks in Basketball. Stalley shifted his focus towards music and in 2008 he teamed up with Ohio's DJ, Terry Urban to release his first mixtape titled Goin' Ape. This followed with several mixtape releases in 2009, MadStalley: The Autobiography, 2011, Lincoln Way Nights, and 2012's release, Savage Journey to the American Dream.

He left home to play Division 1 basketball in Michigan, injuring himself shortly after. That setback brought him to New York to play for Long Island University, but a second injury derailed his athletic plans and he changed his focus to music. In 2008, he connected with Ohio's own, Terry Urban on the mixtape release "Goin' Ape." He also toured as an opening act for Mos Def. His second project MadStalley: The Autobiography brought attention to his transition from small time griot to rap star. He's since worked with brands like Nike, ESPN, 10Deep and Mishka. Currently, Stalley has been working with Creative Control, the media collective associated with Dame Dash, DD172 and fellow rap artist Curren$y. His recent release titled Lincoln Way Nights (Intelligent Trunk Music), he carefully illustrates a typical night out on his popular hometown strip. He's appeared on BET's 106 and Park as a part of the Music Matters campaign and premiered his video for "SLAPP" on the countdown.
