Homeward Through The Haze Lyrics

First rain of winter
First fall from grace
It's my first hallow echo
In the halls of praiseHow could Samson
I thought he was blind as a bat
How could he have torn down
The temples like thatAnd how could little Caesar
How could he know whereof he spoke
When all of his wheels are turning him into a joke[Chorus]
'Cause the blind are leading the blind
And am I amazed at how they stumble
Homeward through the haze
Got the soul of a rag picker
Got the mind of a slugI keep sweeping problems
Under my rug
All of my fine
My fine fair weather friends, yeahWill have no more time
To make their amends[Chorus]

Crosby & Nash is a duo formed by David Crosby and Graham Nash during a Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young hiatus. After the success of Déjà Vu, all four members of CSNY released solo albums. Crosby released If I Could Only Remember My Name, while Nash released Songs for Beginners. In the autumn of 1971 the best friends toured together as an acoustic duo to favorable reviews; consequently, in 1972 the two decided to record an album together and the result was Graham Nash David Crosby.
