Hope For Me Yet Lyrics

I could bless the water
But it wouldn't turn to wine
Paint a picture of the sunset
Hanging there in your eyes
But it'd just be some compromiseI could write a million verses
Every word you've heard before
Steal some of Dylan's best
But it'd leave me wanting to say more
'Cause there's so much moreBaby, if you could love someone like me
There's no end to the possibility
Hopes and dreams push away the pain and regret
But loving you just lets me know
There might be hope for me yet, hope for me yetSometimes when I look back
I don't even know myself
It blows my mind to think that
I've found grace in someone else
Baby your grace is something else, yesIf you could love someone like me
There's no end to the possibility

Hopes and dreams push away the pain and regret
But loving you just lets me know
There might be hope for me yetFor a man who's done nothing
I've been blessed with so much more than I deserve
I'm smart enough to know
That I've been handed something
Can't put a price on what it's worthBaby, if you could love someone like me
Theres no end to the possibility
Hopes and dreams push away the pain and regret
But loving you just lets me know
There might be hope for me yet, hope for me yet

Marc Broussard (born January 14, 1982) is an American singer and songwriter. The Louisiana native released his first major album (with Island Def Jam Records) on August 3, 2004. The album's title Carencro pays tribute to the musician's hometown of Carencro, Louisiana. His style is best described as "Bayou Soul," a mix of funk, blues, R&B, rock, and pop, matched with distinct Southern roots.

Marc is best known for the songs "Where You Are" and "Home." Broussard previously released several independent efforts, including 2002's Momentary Setback which spawned the hit "The Wanderer", a song about self discovery. A re-worked version of the song appears on Carencro. As of July 2005, "Home" was released as a single.

Although Broussard is rather unknown, he is characteristically known and critically praised for his strong vocals. However, he has garnered an uptick in popularity thanks to a snappy tune "Must Be The Water" which is featured in television commercials on TNT for the 2008 NBA All-Star game held in New Orleans.
