Hope and Prayer Lyrics

I die just a little
Each day I see the pain that they must live
I cry just a little
And I wonder if there's more that I can give
I give my love (My love)
I give them all the hope I can
They know they're not alone
Together we'll make a finer standThis is their hope, this is their prayer
That there are people who still care
Who will not forget that they are innocent
Innocent one and all
This is their hope, this is their prayer
That someone always will be there
To stand by their side, to protect them
Help them to stand tall
This is their prayerThey need to know they're not alone
We need to make their fight our own
'Cause the road is long and winding

Need to help them find the way
Help them wipe away their sorrow
And find a brand new dayThis is their hope, this is their prayer
That there are people who still care
Who will not forget that they are innocent
Innocent one and all
This is their hope, this is their prayer
That someone always will be there
To stand by their side, to protect them
Help them to stand tall
This is their prayer
