Hourglass Lyrics

There was something wrong
with the other night
and it made me see
in a different light
But it's all on me
cause I'm not
who I used to beWill history repeat again
It comes around
every now and then
Before you go
I got to let you knowYou told your story
and I played along
Now you're hiding
from the damage that's been done
It's been doneYou couldn't face me
so you run away
I would never want to
see the world that way

Your wayThere were certain things
that were hard to see
Well it's no longer
a mystery
And I must confess
I couldn't care lessYou told your story
and I played along
Now you're hiding
from the damage that's been done
It's been doneYou couldn't face me
so you run away
I would never want to
see the world that way
Your way
