Housewives Hooked on Heroin Lyrics

not even housewives hooked on heroin
could understand the awful mess I'm in.
I don't know where my real life begins,
but I'm sure that I'll be there.I paid to see some aging pop star sing
about the universe and cosmic things.
he sang of perfect girls with perfect skin,
but I really couldn't care[chorus:]
not even housewives hooked on heroin
could match my constant appetite for sin.I met this guy who lives in big hotels,
his paradise became his living hell.
he looked at things he knew he couldn't sell,
and he felt like he would die.[chorus]not even housewives hooked on heroin
could match my appetite for sin.[chorus]not even housewives hooked on heroin
could match my appetite for sin.

No-Man is a British duo formed in 1987 by Tim Bowness and Porcupine Tree's Steven Wilson. The band has so far produced six studio albums and a number of singles/outtakes collections (most notably, 2006's career retrospective, All the Blue Changes). Originally a sample-based proto-trip hop/ambient/electro-pop styled music, No-Man's sound has become more organic, diverse and band-oriented in subsequent years. The band has been lauded "Conceivably the most important English group since The Smiths" by Melody Maker music newspaper.
