How Could We Dare to Be Wrong Lyrics

Advisory - the following lyrics contain explicit language:
Take me up
Fill my cup with your wine
I'm your home
And you are mineI'll never leave you
Now that I've seen you
I'll never breathe a word of what I've foundMake my eyes
Tell no lies
To my heart
I've known the wayRight from the start
You know you'll see me

Only when you free me
When our darkest hour are passes to darkHow could we fail to see
Everything that we could be?
Now that we've written this song
How could we dare to be wrongThere is no turning back from the truth
It took so long
But now I'm thereTake my word
Show me you've heard
I'll never ask again what I ask nowHow could we fail to see
Everything that we could be?
Now that we've written this song
How could we dare to be wrong
To be wrong

In the 60's, Colin Blunstone was the lead singer of The Zombies, a british band that developed a distinctive, jazzy sound, in which his soft, laid-back, almost hesitant voice was offset against the equally soft, but flexible and pointy instruments of organ, drum, and bass. The Zombies disbanded. In the early 70's, Blunstone re-emerged as a solo act, and scored several major hits. The music featured rhythm guitar now and ranged from string arranged melodies, to rock, to American folk.
