Human Taste Test Lyrics

This is not suitable
For human consumption
You ask how I know
It's just 'cause I read the label
And I listened to the soundWe are living through the lost riff generation
I never heard a song like this
Before except yesterdayOh yeah, all right fight the good fight
Oh yeah, all right fight the good fightOh yeah, all rightSomethings got to give
And somethings got to catch
Get in the last words close in
On the final destinationPoke me with a q-tip
Then claim it's a knockout
All ears, all eyes, all the timeYou stare at the moon
And your chance is coming soon
So get ready the night is caving inYou stare at the moon
And your chance will come to soon
So get ready the night is caving inThis is not suitable
For human consumption

I read the label
And I had myself a tastePoke me with a q-tip
Soft and slow and gentle
All ears, all eyes, all the time
Oh yeah, all rightPoke me with a q-tip
Then claim it's a knockout
All ears, all eyes, all the time
Oh yeah, all rightOh yeah, all right

Piebald was an indie/punk band formed in 1994 in Andover, Massachusetts. Piebald started as a hardcore band in the same scene that produced legends Converge but later moved to the Boston suburb of Somerville and became a staple of the Greater Boston indie rock scene. Two members still live in the Boston area, while the other two now live in Los Angeles. A turning point in Piebald's career came when they recorded seven tracks, and put them on the CD that came to be known as Sometimes Friends Fight.
