Humble Pie Lyrics

I guess I'm happy that it's over, yes I'm happy
That you can't see my cry
I'm glad you're not around to see me be so gloomy
Since we said good-byeOh, I got all this time
I got all this freedom
I got all this room
So why do I feel numb?Oh I think....I think I'm eating humble pie
I made a mistake
Now I'm living a lie
I fought, but never hard enough
To hold on to you
And your damn good stuff
Wooh, me oh my
Humble pieYou maybe sometimes cross my mind just for a moment
Every waking hour
I left the roller coaster ride and soon the pavement
Flooded with rain showersOh you knew what we had
You controlled your temper

You never gave up
I cut the tetherOh I think....I think I'm eating humble pie
I made a mistake
Now I'm living a lie
I never felt so low, so rough
I just want you back
And your damn good stuff
Wooh, me oh my
Humble pieOne heat-of-the-moment choice
Has left me in the cold
And snow may look like glitter
But you are gold, you are goldI think I'm eating humble pie
I made a mistake
Now I'm living a lie
I fought, but never hard enough
To hold on to you
And your damn good stuff
Wooh, me oh my
Humble pie
