Hurry Home Lyrics

I've been listening to the sounds of the night
Waiting for you to come around and hold me tight
I've been wanting you right here by my sideI don't care what you gotta do
Just get here in a rush
Every part of me aches for you
Keeps getting stronger, I hunger, I long for you touchHurry home, I'm counting the minutes until you are in my arms
Hurry home as fast as you can baby
I'll be here, ready to hold you, don't take it slow
Won't you hurry home to me?I miss the way you laugh off the blues
The way you're there to listen when I need you to
And baby how I'm needing you nowI know that you'll be coming soon
It's taking way too long
I asked the man up in the moon
Send you to me, instantly, back to where you belongHurry home, I'm counting the minutes until you are in my arms
Hurry home as fast as you can, baby
And I'll be here, waiting to hold you so don't be slow
Won't you hurry home to me?And when you come back
When you walk through the door

Gonna show some love, boy
I'll hold you like never, like never, never beforeHurry home, I'm counting the minutes until you are in my arms
Hurry home as fast as you can, baby
And I'll be here, waiting to hold you so don't be slow
Won't you hurry home, hurry?Hurry home, I'm counting the minutes until you are in my arms
Hurry home just as fast as you can, hurry home
Hurry home, I'm counting the minutes until you are in my arms
Hurry home, you know I need you to hurry homeHurry home, I'm counting the minutes until you are in my arms
Hurry home just as fast as you can
Hurry home, I'm counting the minutes until you are in my arms
Come along, hurry homeHurry, hurry home, boy
Hurry, hurry home, boy
Come on, hurry home
Hurry homeHurry home, I'm counting the minutes until you are in my arms
Hurry home
