Hurry Home Through the Crowds Lyrics

If there are dreams that I get lost in
It doesn't mean anything
I know exactly what I've found
I don't want you to worry
Over some flight of fancy
All I want's the here and now
I miss you through the day
Never want my own space
Hurry home through the crowds
I know how precious this is
What we have
Noone wants to last
I never mean to do what I do
I know what's present

And I know what's past
And when you go quiet I know
I've strayed from the road
I can stop you feeling insecure
Can't change the way you are
But everything's about you now
I know sometimes I don't help
There's always so much less to tell
What you think it's all about
I could almost leave too much alone
There's noone you should be jealous of
I'd show you but I don't know how
I know how precious this is
What we have
Noone wants to last
I never mean to do what I do
I know what's present
And I know what's past
And when you go quiet I know
I've strayed from the road
I miss you through the day
Never want my own space
Hurry home through the crowds

The band was formed in 1995 and all the songs on the debut album, Her Handwriting (the title is a quote from Part Company by The Go-Betweens) were recorded in Mitcham...
