I Ain't Worried Lyrics

I ain't worried about a god damn thing
I hear them talking. I ain't listening
ListeningHow many times did you tell me I was wrong
But I didn't listen to you and I only stayed strong
In a world where people don't hang on too long
I belong - I belong
Prove me wrong - Prove me wrongI ain't worried about a god damn thing
I hear them talking. I ain't listening
ListeningOut come the wolves in the lunar light
Final flight you're wrong, I'm right
Talk to me straight man, but be polite
You hear my scream cause this one bitesI ain't worried about a god damn thing
I hear them talking. I ain't listening
ListeningI'm Matt Freeman I'm coming in quick
I got a 64 Merc and a clutch that won't slip
I don't give a god damn what they say
I'm born and raised in the east bayI ain't worried about a god damn thing
I hear them talking. I ain't listening

ListeningI take chances that most won't take - Right
I get knocked down I won't break
Get it clear and make no mistake
This town's filled with rattlesnakesBlack Brown White we're all punk rock
We're the kings of the low income block
Worn out sneakers skinheads mohawk
When we all get together yeh the music won't stopI ain't worried about a god damn thing
I hear them talking. I ain't listening

Rancid is a punk rock band which formed in Berkeley, California, United States in 1991. The band consists of Tim "Lint" Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Lars Frederiksen (guitar), Matt Freeman (bass) and Brendan Stieneckert (drums). The band has released seven albums: "Rancid" (1993), "Let's Go" (1994), "...And Out Come the Wolves" (1995), "Life Won't Wait" (1998), "Rancid" (2000), "Indestructible" (2003) and "Let the Dominoes Fall" (2009). The band originally consisted of Armstrong, Freeman (both former members of Operation Ivy) and drummer Brett Reed, with Frederiksen joining in 1993. Reed left in 2006 and was replaced by Stieneckert.

To date, Rancid has released seven studio albums, one split album, one compilation, two extended plays, and a series of live online-only albums, and has been featured on a number of compilation albums. The band has independently sold over four million records worldwide,[4] making it one of the most successful independent punk groups of all time. The band rose to fame in 1994 with its second studio album, Let's Go, featuring the single "Salvation". In the following year, Rancid released its highly successful album ...And Out Come the Wolves, which produced its best-known songs "Roots Radicals", "Ruby Soho" and "Time Bomb", and was certified gold and platinum by the RIAA, selling over one million copies in the United States alone. Its next four albums, Life Won't Wait, Rancid, Indestructible and Let the Dominoes Fall, were also critically acclaimed, though not as successful as ...And Out Come the Wolves. Rancid is currently working on an eighth studio album, which is said to be recorded in September 2011, and expected to be released in 2012.
