I Am Nothing Lyrics

Tonight I'm nothing
It doesn't matter where I've been
Delay of reaction is
The unseen movie of this lifeI remember one of my friends
Telling me to go aheadWater on every side
There's a dead spot in my eye
If I listen close at night
There's something coming my wayLike someone called my name
But I didn't care to look that way
I just fixed my eyes into the crowd
It would have been strange to turn aroundIf you would tell me that I was someone
For a second I would think
Just like I would try to consider
How it would feel to knowIf you would tell me that I was someone
For a second I would think
Just like I would try to consider
How it would feel to knowI have to get on with this
It's a decision for tonight

Out to look for chances
It is murder of my mindOnce I was someone new
I was chosen for a while
Then with time I am changing
At least that is what they sayIf you would tell me that I was someone
For a second I would think
Just like I would try to consider
How it would feel to knowIf you would tell me that I was someone
For a second I would think
Just like I would try to consider
How it would feel to knowWhat is worth with being here
I pray so often for a changeIf you would tell me that I was someone
For a second I would think
Just like I would try to consider
How it would feel to knowIf you would tell me that I was someone
For a second I would think
Just like I would try to consider
How it would feel to know

There are multiple bands named Katatonia: 1) Swedish metal band. 2) Polish death/thrash metal band. 1) Katatonia is a Swedish metal band formed in Stockholm in 1991 by Jonas Renkse and Anders Nyström. The bands music has doom metal elements and influences with their progressive metal style, noting the overall bleak melancholy and despair sound. After more than a year of rehearsals and composing, the first real fruits of their labour came to light in mid 1992 with the release of the demo "Jhva Elohim Meth", recorded at Sweden's Gorysound Studio and produced by the multi-musician Dan Swanö.
