PHONOROID is an German/American Folk-Duo, consisting of the musicvideo-director Vanessa Vassar (vocals) and producer Axel Heilhecker (guitars, production). They exist since 1995 and recorded 4 albums: Two Many Frames (1998), Not On The Map (1999), American Waitress (Soundtrack, 2002) and Cravin' Astonishment (2004).
