I Believe I'll Live for Him Lyrics

I believe He died for me
So I believe I'll live for Him
I may not do it right
But I'm gonna tryWherever He would take me
Is better than where I've been
I believe He died for me
So I believe I'll live for HimSoftly
(He came to me)
Softly
(He said to me it's all right)
It'll be all rightSlowly
(I took to Him)
Slowly
(Just like a friend He let me)
Take my timeAfter what I used to be
To think He still has plans for me
For meI believe He died for me
So I believe I'll live for Him

I may not do it right
But I'm gonna tryWherever He would take me
Is better than where I've been
I believe He died for me
So I believe I'll live for HimSoftly
(He came to me)
Softly
(He said to me it's all right)
It'll be all rightSlowly
(I took to Him)
Slowly
(Just like a friend He let me)
Take my timeAfter what I used to be
To think He still has plans for me
For meI believe He died for me
So I believe I'll live for Him
I may not do it right
But I'm gonna tryWherever He would take me
Is better than where I've been
I believe He died for me
So I believe I'll live for HimWherever He would take me
Is better than where I've been
I believe He died for me
So I believe I'll live for Him

The Statler Brothers were an American country music vocal group founded in 1955 in Staunton, Virginia. Originally performing gospel music at local churches, the group billed themselves as The Four Star Quartet, and later The Kingsmen. In 1963, when the song "Louie, Louie" by the garage rock band also called The Kingsmen became famous, the group elected to bill themselves as The Statler Brothers. Despite the name, only two members of the group (Don and Harold Reid) are actual brothers and none have the surname of "Statler".
