I Believe Lyrics

I was a doubter in the power of love
I built up a wall so high to keep out the human touch
Then you came along like the savior to my soul
Now the walls are all in pieces
And baby, baby, you're the reasonI believe
I believe in the power of love
I believe
I believe you're my miracle
You touched my heart in a special way
And here in your arms is where I want to stayI believe
I believe in the love we make
I believe
I believe you're my lucky break
It's true
I believe in youI was a stranger to the touch of your hand
I chose to hide my heart, I was a solitary man
But you came along like a hero just in time
Now the lonely spell is broken

And baby, baby, you're the reasonI believe
I believe in the power of love
I believe
I believe you're my miracle
You touched my heart in a special way
And here in your arms is where I want to stayI believe
I believe in the love we make
I believe
I believe you're my lucky break
It's true
I believe in youNo more lonely nights
Now that you're by my side
Gonna hold onto you, baby
And never let go
I want you
I want you to knowI believe in the power of love
I believe
I believe you're my miracle
You touched my heart in a special way
And here in your arms is where I want to stayI believe
I believe in the love we make
I believe
I believe you're my lucky break
It's true
I believe in youI believe in the power of love
I believe
I believe you're my miracle
You touched my heart in a special way
And here in your arms is where I want to stayI believe
I believe in the love we make
I believe

Sawyer Brown is a country music band formed in 1981 at a Pizza Hut restaurant in Apopka, Florida. Lead singer Mark Miller asked keyboardist Gregg "Hobie" Hubbard to play piano for a couple of songs he had written. The two left for Nashville, Tennessee, where they met up with Florida drummer Joe Smyth, Michigan bass player Jim Scholten and original lead guitarist Bobby Randall. They first called the band "Savanah", but renamed themselves "Sawyer Brown" after Sawyer Brown Road, the street where they rehearsed.
