I Can Tell You That Lyrics

(Talk about love, talk about love)
(Talk about love, talk about love)
Love, love, love
(Talk about love, talk about love)
Alright, love, love, love
(Talk about love, talk about love)One day I'll always remember
Was when you walked into my life
It was a very special night
When we danced so closeSo tender, it gave my heart
The second chance that I'd been waiting forOur love is falling, all kinds of pressure
Has temptation calling, it gives me fever
But no matter what, I ain't gonna leave you
I'm gonna stay 'til the last dayWorry no more, what is love for
I hear love knocking, honey
Come on, open the doorYou know you've got me to love
I can tell you that
If you ever should need some love
You just call me backI've been loving you for the start

Let me tell you that
And I'll keep loving you from my heart
Sure can tell you that you've got so much
(To love)Every time that we kiss
I'm reminded it's you I miss
I just love it when we love like this
I can tell you thatPlease forgive me if I pout
But my world would turn inside out
If on leaving me, you insist
Let me tell you thatI start to hold you but you pull back
Not much just a little, I can't control you
When you get so caught up in the middle
First you say yes, then you say noSaid, you're gonna stay
Now you're gonna go
You know I'll tell you, honey
But I think you already knowYou know you've got me to love
I can tell you that
If you ever should need some love
You just call me backI've been loving you for the start
Let me tell you that
And I'll keep loving you from my heart
Sure can tell you that you've got so much
(To love)I can you this, anytime you go
I really miss you, nothing to do
Tired of my friends, won't you come back
And love me again, so I can tell you
That you've got me forever girl to loveOur love is falling, all kinds of pressure
Has temptation calling, it gives me fever
But no matter what, I ain't gonna leave you
I'm gonna stay 'til the last dayWorry no more, what is love for
I hear love knocking, honey
Come on, open the doorYou know you've got me to love
I can tell you that
If you ever should need some love
You just call me backI've been loving you for the start
Let me tell you that
And I'll keep loving you from my heart
Sure can tell you that you've got so much
(To love)[Unverified]

Luther Ronzoni Vandross (April 20, 1951 - July 1, 2005) was an american soul and rnb singer whose career spanned four decades.

In the 70s, he worked as a backing singer Chic and for David Bowie (on the Young Americans album). He later found success as a solo artist with Superstar and A House Is Not A Home.

In the 80s, Vandross was a vocalist on early Change singles (Searching), whilst continuing his solo career with such releases as "Never Too Much", "Power Of Love/Love Power", "If Only For One Night", "Here And Now".

In the 90s, he was more famous for duets with Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey (amongst others), than for his solo work.

It was an ongoing battle with his weight that may have ultimately proved his undoing. He suffered a stroke in 2003, from which he never really recovered, and died in 2005.

During his career, he sold 25 million albums and won eight Grammy awards including Best Male R&B Vocal Performance four times. He won four Grammy awards in 2004, including the Grammy Award for Song of the Year for the track "Dance With My Father," co-written with Richard Marx.
