I Can't Help Myself (Remastered Version) Lyrics

Can't help myself, falling in love
I can't help myself
Can't help myself, falling in loveBilly was a friend of mine
We used to walk down by the river
And he'd hold my handWe were only ten or twelve years old
Didn't know about love
I found out that it could hurt you soCan't help myself, falling in love
I can't help myself
Can't help myself, falling in loveJimmie was the one in high school days
We used to drive around the city
Thinking we'd grown upMust've been just about sweet sixteen
I found a brand new world
Brand new love that I had never seenCan't help myself, falling in love
I can't help myself
Can't help myself, falling in loveNo matter how hard I try
I just can't leave it alone
No use in wonderin' why
'Cause my heart has a mind of its ownCan't help myself, falling in love

I can't help myself
Can't help myself, falling in loveBut I keep on fallingCan't help myself, falling in love
I can't help myself
I keep on falling
Can't help myself, falling in loveI keep right on fallingCan't help myself, falling in love
I can't help myself
Can't help myself, falling in love
Falling in love

Bonnie Raitt, (born November 8, 1949) is an American blues and R&B singer, songwriter, and guitarist who was born in Burbank, California, the daughter of Broadway musical star John Raitt. Raitt began playing guitar at an early age, something not a lot of her high school girlfriends did. "I had played a little at school and at camp," she later recalled in a July 2002 interview. "My parents would drag me out to perform for my family, like all parents do, but it was a hobby—nothing more...I think people must wonder how a white girl like me became a blues guitarist.
