I Can't Sing Lyrics

too easy
lord i cant sing, but i'm tryin
to give my country folks somthin'they gon' like
but if you dont, well then im sorry
meet me outback when im done and we can fight
im just here to do me the only way i know and i guarantee ya folks its a hell of a show
see me and my boys are a rowdy bunch, yes ma,am i get drunk and throw the first punch
old colts a ring leader,he ain't yelled at me
been know to raise hell from la to tennessee,so dont get outta line cause we dont take no crap, were just here to drink beer
and do some country rap, lord i cant sing ,but im tryin
to give my country folks somthin they gon' like
but if you don't,well then im sorry
meet me outback when im done and we can fight
ya'll never thought that i can do it like this
it aint country twang when i do my thing,
see i work from sun up to sun down,
you better be ready when i come to your town,
cause me and my boys we gon' do it all night,

and we gon' party til we see the sunlight,
so fire up the grill, ice the beer, and tell your friends that they could meet us down the road where the blacktop ends,
lord i cant sing, but im tryin
to give my country folks somthin they gon' like
but if you dont, well then im sorry
meet me out back when im done and we can fight
well this here's the last verse, bout time to leave a redneck rap song i know its hard to believe, but i was raised on conway
and willie, sugar hill gang, and run dmc,
told sam what to think and it was bound to happen, bout time for someone to do some country rappin',giver the whole world a
taste of colt ford,so pass the ammunition and praise the lord
lord i cant sing, but im tryin
to give my country folks somthin'they gon' like
but if you dont, well then im sorry
meet me out back when im done and we can fight
lord i cant sing, but im tryin
to give my country folks somthin'they gon'like
but if you dont, well then im sorry
meet me out back when im done and we can fight!

Take Kid Rock, Hank Williams Jr and Toby Keith, mix with a little "Dirty South" rap influence, and what you get is Colt Ford, former golf pro-turned-country music's first legitimate rap star. His debut album, "Ride Through The Country", came out in 2008, featuring some of his friends and influences, from country stars Jamey Johnson and John Michael Montgomery to rapper Bonecrusher and RnB artist Attitude. "Chicken and Biscuits", featuring appearances by Josh Gracin, James Otto and Daryl "DMC" McDaniels came next in April 2010. A third album, featuring new single "Country Thang", was released in 2011. Mixing southern rock, country and rap together, his music is a testament to the up-til-now crazy notion that rap and country don't mix, won't mix, and can't mix. Colt is touring the United States on his sold-out "Declaration of Independence" tour while readying for the June 2012 release of his latest cd, "Declaration of Independence", which will feature performances alongside such musical heavyweights as Darius Rucker, Jason Aldean and Boys II Men.
