I Could Not Love You More Lyrics

Now that we're not alone
No more hide and seek
You are the highest dream to me
And as you softly sleep
Then I can tell you what it meansLocked in my arms like lovers lie
I will not let you slip away
Is this the summer of them all?
Is this my night of nights?
That you came to stayHere you are, owner of my heart
Just the way that love should be
And there is somethin' I must say to you
If you promise to believe
That it's you I'm livin' for
And I could not love you moreSeasons may come and seasons go
But these are the truest words I know
Face to face, eye to eye
This is the summer of our lives
One love that cannot dieHere you are, owner of my soul

Never let you say goodbye
And there is somethin' I must say to you
We leave the world outside
And you have come to me at last, we start
Open up your heart
Let my deepest love inside
I'm only doin' what I have to do
If you promise to believe
And I could not love you moreHere you are
(You are)
Owner of my heart
Just the way that love should be
And there is somethin' I must say to you
Oh we
We leave the world outside
And you have come to me at last, we start
(At last)
Open your heart, oh
Let my deepest love inside
(Love)
I'm only doing what I have to do
If you promise to believe
That it sure meant livin' for
And I could not love you more

The Bee Gees, originally made up of three brothers: Barry Gibb, Robin Gibb (died 2012), and Maurice Gibb (died 2003), have been successful for most of their 40-plus years of recording music. They had two distinct periods of exceptional success: as a pop act in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and as a foremost act of the disco music era in the late 1970s. The Gibb brothers were born on the Isle of Man, UK to English parents in 1946 (Barry Alan Crompton Gibb, September 1) and 1949 ( twins Robin Hugh Gibb and Maurice (pronounced "Morris") Ernest Gibb, December 22).
