I Didn't Even Do It Lyrics

I woke up this mornin'
I was half-insane
And I didn't even know it
I didn't even know it
I went back to bed
I knew I had been framed
'Cause I didn't even do it
I didn't even do itWell, you can't come in
No, you can't come in
I didn't even do it
I didn't even do it
I didn't even do it
And you can't come inWhen the telephone rang
I was thinkin' 'bout the jury
But I couldn't even face it
No I couldn't even face itWhen the cops come knockin'
They was knockin' with a fury
I said I didn't even do it

I didn't even do itWell, you can't come in
No, you can't come in
I didn't even do it
I didn't even do it
I didn't even do it
And you can't come inWhen they took me to the jail
I said, "Room service, please"
They didn't even like itWhen the judge said, son
Boy, get down on your knees
I said I didn't even do it
Your honor, I didn't even do itWell, you can't come in
No, you can't come in
I didn't even do it
I didn't even do it
I didn't even do it
And you can't come in
