I Do Lyrics

You spend your lonely days lookin' for someone
I just wanna be the one that makes your river run
I know it ain't so fun bein' all alone
And I know you wonder when you'll find yourself a homeYou ain't foolin' no one, baby
See you don't believe in youBut I do, yeah, I do
Oh, I do, yeah, I doIf you want some company, I don't mind a ride
I don't want your money, baby, and I don't want your pride
You might think I'm crazy, you just might be shy
I think this is good for us but I could just be highWe can make this happen, baby
I believe that is trueYeah, I do, yes, I do
Oh, I do, yes, I doYou keep on lookin', baby, I hope it's all too sweet
I hope it's fairy tales and everything you dream
But just remember that we ain't all this kind
When you get tired of lookin', baby, I ain't hard to findYour wastin' all your time out there
'Cuz they don't care about youBut I do, yeah, I do
Oh, I do, yeah, I do
Oh, I do, yeah, I do
Oh, I do, yeah, I do

Uncle Kracker (born Matthew Shafer 9 November 1974 in Mount Clemens, Michigan) is an American rock and roll and country music musician.

He started out his career at a young age as a fledgling rapper. He met Kid Rock in 1987, and Rock asked Kracker to become his DJ. Kracker did not know how to work the turntables, but he soon learned how to, and he became a long-term friend and colleague of Rock.

Kracker worked with Kid Rock until he became a solo artist in 2000.

The My Hometown Songfacts reports that Kracker recorded Postcards From Home over seven weeks in early 2011. The album title was inspired by his hectic life on the road after his successful Happy Hour longplayer.
