I Don't Care Anymore Lyrics

You're leaving me you say that we are through.
I can't believe that you found someone new.
But now I plainly see, love's not meant for me.
Go ahead and go, walk out the door, cause darlin', I don't care anymore.I finally thought that I had found, the girl for me.
But you're just like the others, you turned your back on meI've always thought that you were meant for me
I always thought that love just had to be.
Love's one thing I can't win, I'll never try again.
So, go ahead and go, walk out the door, darlin', I don't care anymore. Before you go there's just one thing I ask
a kiss from you, it's gonna be my last.
This is the end, you see, love's not meant for me.
So, go ahead and go, walk out the door, darlin', I don't care anymore.

Del Shannon (30 December 1934–8 February 1990) (born Charles Weedon Westover in Coopersville, Michigan) was an American rock and roller who launched into fame with the No. 1 hit "Runaway" (1961) which introduced the musitron, an early form of the synthesizer played by "Runaway" co-writer and keyboard player Max Crook. Shannon followed up with "Hats Off to Larry", another big hit, and the less popular "So Long, Baby", another song of breakup bitterness. "Little Town Flirt", released in 1962 reached #12 in 1963 as did the album of the same name.
