I Don't Need the City Lyrics

VERSE:
#1
There's a place where all the people use to go
To ease the pain and cure the suffering
They try to hide their everyday prostitution
they value themselves by comparing themselves to others.Their not like me
i keep my self deception, behind a mask
of pride and dignity
It seems to me that they are searching all day
knowing that they will find to beChorus:
i dont need the city
it never cared for me
i dont need this pity
of tranquility
i want to see the blue sky
but darkened clouds i see.
I dont need the city
i dont need thisVERSE:

#2
There's a place where all the people use to be
and suffocate from all their lies
somehow they, have managed all their misbehavior
to the point of this despiteTheir not like me
i hide my self reflection, behind a wall
of privacy
it seems to me that i have found my pleasure,
watching them drown slowlyChorus:
i dont need the city
it never cared for me
i dont need this pity
of tranquility
i want to see the blue sky
but darkened clouds i see.
I dont need the city
i dont need this
i dont need this
i dont want this
i dont need thisi dont need the city
it never cared for me
i dont need this pity
of tranquility
i want to see the blue sky
but darkened clouds i see.
I dont need the city
i dont need this

Neuroticfish is the name of a German musical project whose styles borrow from electronic body music and synthpop, as well as other types of electronic music. It released music on the Dancing Ferret Discs record label. Neuroticfish’s sole member was Sascha Mario Klein. Klein cites his musical inspirations as such bands as Skinny Puppy, Nine Inch Nails, and Depeche Mode, and began experimenting with music on his own in the early 90’s.
