I Don't Need to Know Lyrics

I don't need to know
Why the oceans blue or how the flowers grow
I dont need to live...
Waiting on someone to forgive me for my sins
Like my father before...
Me im a working man, a working man
But i dont need to beleive...
In the something that won't save my sanity
No i dont need
I dont need to know
No i dont need to knoooow
I dont need to knooow
I dont need to knooow
I dont want to live...
In a world where faces change from day to day
And i dont want my life to be...
Soo full of doubt and misery
The years now pass with out a trace

Its something that i am learning to embrace
How most fun nights are spent awake
Thinking about how i dont want to live that way
No i dont want i dont want to live
No i dont want to live
I dont want to live
I dont want to live
I dont know what ive been told
But if you dont beleive the devil owns your soul
Well if this is the truth then to hell i go
'Cause i dont need to know

City and Colour is a band by former Alexisonfire guitarist and vocalist Dallas Green, started in 2004. The project title derives its name from Dallas’ own name: Dallas, a city, and Green, a colour. Dallas is praised by critics and fans alike for his strong, clear vocals and his guitar playing skills.

To date, Dallas has released two EPs, “The Death of Me” (2004) and “Missing” (2005), as well as three full length albums, “Sometimes” (2005), “Bring Me Your Love” (2008) and "Little Hell" (2011). Dallas Green also appears on Neverending White Lights' collaborative album Act 1: Goodbye Friends of the Heavenly Bodies (which was released in 2005), contributing vocals to the song "The Grace".

Recently he has started playing in an acoustic set with his Alexisonfire bandmate, Wade Macneil.
