I Forgive It All Lyrics

Take my voice down to the water
Let it graze awhile
Take my voice down to the water
Let it graze awhileI have not been down these roads since I was a child
I ain't broke and I ain't hungry but I'm close enough to care
I ain't broke and I ain't hungry but I'm close enough to care
Send my things to my niece DoraShe'll keep 'em over there
I forgive it all, I forgive it all
With her, I forgive it allThere ain't no money in this deal, I just tag along
There ain't no money in this deal, I just tag along
Some things I feel right, somebody else thinks wrongI forgive it all, I forgive it all
The hurt, I forgive it allPeople are what people make em' that ain't gonna change
People are what people make 'em, that ain't gonna change
There ain't nothing you can do, nothing you could rearrangeBut I forgive it all, I forgive it all
The hurt, I forgive it all

Mudcrutch was an early Tom Petty band, most of which evolved into Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers. When Mudcrutch originally headed to Hollywood in search of their first record deal, the band consisted of Tom Petty, Mike Campbell, Danny Roberts, Benmont Tench and Randall Marsh. They signed with "Shelter Records" and released one single in 1975. "Depot Street" was the A-side with "Wild Eyes" being the B-side.
