I Fought Piranhas Lyrics

Well i hold the rope and i hold the sail and i kept my papers to keep from land in jail there was noone with me and i fought piranhas and i fought the cold i was all alone and there's noone around Well it's easter morning now so i unroll the cement and walk into the town and i was all alone and i fought the cold there was noone with me and i fought piranhas Well you know what it's like i don't got to tell you who puts up a fight walking out of hell now there's nobody with you when you fought piranhas and you fought the cold and you're all alone

The White Stripes were an alternative rock band, formed in 1997 in Detroit, Michigan, United States. They disbanded in 2011. The group consisted of songwriter Jack White (vocals, piano/keyboards, guitar) and Meg White (drums, vocals). After releasing several singles and three albums within the Detroit independent music underground, The White Stripes rose to prominence in 2002, as part of the garage rock revival scene. Their successful albums White Blood Cells and Elephant drew them attention from a large variety of media outlets in the United States and the United Kingdom.
