I Have Said Enough (Acoustic) Lyrics

I will fall
That I know
Say you don't feel the same
And I will goI have been sitting here
You have told
Me of your reasons why
And I'm not soldI am so lost in what you believe
I am so lost in what you believeWith these eyes
All made clear
Why we still find ourselves
Right back hereI see you terrified
Love so new
Tell me you have with him
All we doI am so lost in what you believe
I am so lost in what you believeAnd I would love to be the one to find
The way to help you to
Unlock the chains to your own mind
But I have said enoughYou will fall

To what you know
Say you don't want to be with me
And I will goI may have out of fear
Come on too strong
But I would not be standing here
If I was wrongI am so lost in what you believe
I am so lost in what you believeAnd I would love to be the one to find
The way to help you to
Unlock the chains to your own mind
But I have said
I have saidYou got me lost in
All your excuses
You are not crazyNo you are not crazy
We are all alone
You can be open
You can be open
You can let me inAnd I would love to be the one to find
The way to help you to
Unlock the chains to your own mind
But I have said
I have said
I have said enough

Inspired by a vast variety of artists, from Brian Wilson to Stevie Wonder, singer/songwriter/pianist Matt Simons pushes himself to grow beyond those influences to find his own voice and create his own sound. Often compared to Jamie Cullum, John Mayer and Adam Levine, Simons also infuses his piano based pop-rock with hints of jazz and R&B. Much of 2011 was spent on tour. In addition to visiting most of the US, he ventured to the UK, Netherlands and Germany in support of his 2010 release, the EP Living Proof. 2012 sees the release of his follow up album, Pieces, dropping 6/19.
