I Just Can’t Take It Anymore Lyrics

I've been thinking back on it babe,
but i guess it's been useless after all.
I'm tired of seeing the days going by,
tearing the numbers off my wall.
You've been taking up my time,
stepping out of line,
breaking up the dreams i had before
and i just can't make it anymore
no, i just can't take it anymore
I heard once before,
you were looking for a friend,
who would take the toime to really get to know you.
But you wanted me to feel and you forgot that i was real,
and i guess i'm not that content no more to know you.

You've been shaking up my bed,
breaking up my head,
so i'm waking up and turning in my score
and i just can't make it anymore
no i just won't take it anymore.
I tried my best i guess,
and it would have worked i guess,
but i couldn't keep my eyes from seeing through you.
So i'll go on alone,
and i'll leave you here at home,
and forget the fact that i ever even knew you.
Well we could have got a lot,
but we certainly did not,
so i'll try to do the things i did before.
and i just can't make it anymore
no i just won't take it anymore.
and i just can't make it anymore
no i just can't take it anymore.
