I Keep Changin' Lyrics

Spent some time up in Oregon
I spent some time up in Maine
All the ones who knew me then
Now say now they don't know my nameBut there comes a time you know you realize
That there's never really anyone
Who knows you all the time
Yeah, you know I'm gonna be freeLast time I was Memphis bound
I say Memphis, Tennessee
Met some friends and we played my songs
Now that's makin' good kind of music by meBut you know my life is always changin' lines
Just to suit some melody
I'm hummin' all the time
Yeah, you know I'm gonna be freeEvery place I've ever been
I've just simply sung my thoughts
People pick up on what suits them best
And say that's me after I'm goneThere ain't nobody in this whole round world
Gonna ever really know my mind
Or know me all the time

Yeah, you know I'm gonna be freeYeah, I'm gonna be free
If I have to step outside and catch a train in the rain
