I Love You Because Lyrics

I love you because you understand dear
Every single thing I try to do
You're always there to lend a helping hand dear
But most of all I love you 'cause you're youNo matter what the world may say about me
I know your love will always see me through
I love you for the way you never doubt me
But most of all I love you 'cause you're youI love you because my heart is lighter
Every time you're walking by my side
I love you because the future's brighter
The door to happiness you've opened wideNo matter what may be the style or seasons
I know your heart will always be true
I love you for a hundred thousand reasons
But most of all I love you 'cause you're you

Ernest Dale Tubb (February 9, 1914 – September 6, 1984), nicknamed the Texas Troubadour, was an American singer and songwriter and one of the pioneers of country music. His biggest career hit song, "Walking the Floor Over You" (1941), marked the rise of the honky tonk style of music. In 1948, he was the first singer to record a hit version of "Blue Christmas", a song more commonly associated with Elvis Presley and his mid-1950s version.
