I Married a Martian Lyrics

Well, I married a Martian, and boy, am I sorryWell, she came down from the sky
She couldn't stand the attitude there
She took human form, not bad she seemed different
She had a European flair and I said, "Where you from?"
And she said, she said, "I'm from Mars"I married a Martian her loving is different
Viva la difference every, every night
I married a Martian I took her to Vegas
I dressed her in ermine she had the time of her lifeThough she called me Mister Right
I could sense something was wrong
She was hardly home at all
She'd keep telling me she was doing studies of Earth
She had tendencies to flirt and it really did hurt meI married a Martian, boy, am I sorry
I don't recommend it to anyone in their right mind
I married a Martian, I think I see changes
I know I see changes she doesn't look like our kindHer arms, her legs, were growing and growing
Her form, once thin, was changing, was changing
I can't describe the changes, so gruesome
She looked, she seemed so MartianI married a Martian, I'm going to Vegas

It isn't for pleasure, I'm getting a quickie divorce
I married a Martian, boy, am I sorry
I don't recommend it to anyone in their right mindI married a Martian who was I kidding
She only had loved me 'cause I was the first guy she saw
I married a Martian and now it is over
Go back to your cronies back to your own form of lifeI married a Martian they're good in the movies
Dramatic potential but they're not so hot in real life

There are at least three bands named Sparks.

One is an American rock and pop music band formed in Los Angeles in 1970 by brothers Ron Mael (keyboards) and Russell Mael (vocals), initially under the name Halfnelson. Best known for their quirky approach to song writing, Sparks' music is often accompanied by cutting and acerbic lyrics, and an idiosyncratic stage presence, typified in the contrast between Russell's wide-eyed hyperactive frontman antics and Ron's sedentary scowling.

The band's long career has seen them successfully adopt many different musical genres; including glam pop, power pop, electronic dance music and mainstream pop. Despite these many styles, a recognizable "Sparks sound" remains throughout, and they have enjoyed a large cult following since their first releases. Sparks have been highly influential on the development of popular music, in particular on the late 1970s scene, when in collaboration with Giorgio Moroder (and Telex subsequently), they reinvented themselves as an electronic pop duo, and abandoned the traditional rock band line up. In contrast to the esteem in which they are held by such peers as Depeche Mode, New Order, Pet Shop Boys and They Might Be Giants, who all cite Sparks as a major influence, their almost constantly changing styles and unique visual presentations have sometimes seen them dismissed as a novelty act.

The 2002 release of Lil' Beethoven, their self-described "genre-defining opus", and 2006's Hello Young Lovers (their 20th studio album) have brought Sparks renewed critical and commercial success, and seen them continue to "steer clear of pop conventions."

The other is a Christian rock band from Finland. MySpace

The third Sparks is pop group from Poland,
