I Miss My Baby (1972 Version) Lyrics

Take a mournful light
no one to love
and a broken heart
seems like the whole world has got me down
I'm falling apart
I could find a thousand places to go
but everybody it's gone - oh baby!
My pocket full of chemicals, oh no
and no telephone home
Ooooooooh it's in this way, in this way
since you've been gone away, gone away
no if's, no if's
no and's, no ends
aaaaaahhhhhhhnnnd no baby
I miss my baby x2
If you see her
you can't miss her
she got everything - yes she do now

love would take a turn hardy
but what Mother Nature brings - yes she do
a heart pure as gold to match her eyes
that shine like fire - oh baby
she makes, she make you love her
she my heart's desire - yes you are
it's in this way, in this way
since you've been gooooooone away, gone away
no if's, no if's
and nooooooooooo and's
and no baaayyyyyby
I miss my baby
help me somebody
Ooooohhhhhh
It's in this way, in this way
sheee's gone away, gone away
no if's, no if's
no aaaaaaand's, no ends
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh
miss my baby,
I miss my baby,
I miss my baby,
I miss my baby...
