Verdoux stumbled upon each other through a craigslist ad in the suburbs of Los Angeles, CA. Pulling from bad experiences with ex-lovers and nights spent in a garage with guitars and copious amounts of alcohol, founding members Michael Taber and Devin Trott quickly discovered the sounds which would inspire an album.

In 2013, the group wrote and released their debut full-length record entitled "Your Lipstick".
