I Pick My Parties (feat. Toby Keith) Lyrics

Well, I dont go out all the time
What kinda fool do you think I am?
But a rowdy Wednesday nighter
Aint really somethin you can planGotta be at work by 7, thats right
I should be gettin home, thats right
I used to do this all the time
But now I really dontI pick my parties thats what I do
I wish that I could hit em all
But I've got to pick and chooseId be pushin up daisies
If I did it every day of the week
So I pick my parties
Oh, but sometimes they pick meGood ones always happen
At the most inconvenient time
But once it gets a goin and is rollin
Aint no slowin down the night, oh come on!That ole sun might be risin
Fore I get to bed
But I make sure its always
With the poundin in my headI pick my parties thats what I do

I wish that I could hit 'em all
But you got to pick and chooseId be pushin up daisies
If I did it every day of the week
So I pick my parties
Oh, but sometimes they pick meAnd if Im gonna do it
Im gonna do it right
Yeah, if Im goin out
Im goin out all nightWe pick our parties thats what we do
We wish that we could hit em all
But we've got to pick and chooseWed be pushin up daisies
If we did it every day of the week
So I pick my parties
Oh, but sometimesI pick my parties
Oh, but sometimes
We pick our parties
Oh, but sometimes they pick Toby, T and meHow do like us now, baby?

Montgomery Gentry is a country music duo, founded in the 1990s, consisting of Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry. Eddie Montgomery is the older brother of John Michael Montgomery. Some sources say that Troy Gentry is the son of Bobbie Gentry, which is untrue. Troy's parents are Lloyd and Pat Gentry. Eddie, Troy, and John were in a band called Early Tymz. Eddie and Troy continued to perform after John left to pursue a solo career. The duo went through several name changes before they decided to call themselves Montgomery Gentry. Eddie Montgomery is bald and seemingly always wears a hat. Eddie also has a habit of twirling his microphone on stage, which has become somewhat of a signature.

The band has released five CDs including "Some People Change" which was released in 2006
