Jammer:
I Work Hard everyday, I wont stop grime until everythings kosher, Until i got the house on the hill that looks like the one on the holiday brochure, I want power but it cant be solar, i'v always wanted to be a high roller, When i was young i had to get nikey i couldn't get gola, I had name brands when i was on ma stroller, I'm a big man now so wanna bow tie and a bowler, Forget P's like diddy i wanna make p's just like coca cola, For the big house in Angola, and the big Range Rover, And the P's legit so it realy dont matter if police wanna come an try pull man over.

"What would happen if Jim Adkins, Ryan Adams, Ken Andrews and Matthew Sweet got trapped in an elevator together, for 12 hours, with nothing but water, a guitar and (obviously) a lot of time on their hands? This would happen." -Waleed Rashidi Inland Empire Weekly

Science Fiction Theater’s debut album was released in the Spring of 2009. Although it received little commercial push it managed to make it’s way onto a handful of music journalists “best of 2009” lists. The Inland So Cal dubbed the band “pop rock superheroes” while the Press Enterprise had this to say about the album.

“Science Fiction Theater’s self-titled full-length should be on the top of music critics’ lists everywhere, that’s how great this album is. The Rancho Cucamonga outfit’s power pop tendencies take cues from the accessible hooks of a band like Fountains of Wayne, but also add a reserved maturity to the lyrics and make for an album that’s going to have staying power for years to come.”

The band also had some good fortune on radio stations such as Los Angeles based KROQ 106.7 (Locals Only) and x103.9

In 2011 the band was approached by an animator to write and record a theme song for an animated podcast featuring Kevin Smith (Clerks, Mallrats, Zack and Miri Make a Porno), Kevin Hardwick (from MTV's Singled Out), and more. The result was a space-synth instrumental song titled "Running From the Death Rays". The podcast was featured on the popular site nerdist.com and received thousands a views exposing the band to fresh ears.

After adding two more members Jojo Casillas (Drums) and Jeremiah Trujillo (multi Instrumentalist) the band embarked on 2 U.S. tours. The first tour saw the band playing shows all over the western half of the united states. On the second tour the band focused mainly on the west coast including a crowded in-store performance at the popular Rasputin Record Store in Berkeley and a packed show at Los Angeles's historic venue The Troubadour.

After a year and a half of touring/promoting the debut record, the band settled in Pomona, CA and transformed a house into a recording studio. The band is currently writing/recording a follow up album. The Band expects to release the sophomore album in the spring of 2012.
