chris wind has composed music in a variety of genres, from classical stuff ("stillwood" and "for Amelia" - mostly for solo piano, but there are also some beautiful solos for viola, flute, and cello), to new age stuff ("RubyRose" - the three solos for sax are quite haunting - one with rain, one with wolves, and one with loons), to electronic soundscapes ("Rocks and Trees" is a set of pieces for a series of black and white photographs of rocks and trees, and "Paintings" is a set of electronic backgrounds especially composed for foregrounds of improvisation by any acoustic solo instrument)...
