I Wanna Be Your Rock & Roll Lyrics

Now everybody put on your dance shoes
It's time we all got footloose, just follow me
Im making time to cut up the floor
It's in your eyes and I want so much more
That youre not givingYoure shaking this poor boy's world
Just put him out of his miseryTake me for a ride through devious eyes
And when I wake up tomorrow
These bed sheets tell lies, no words can disguise
And I dont wanna wake up at allWake upWere all sweating to the oldies now
The Kings back for ride night on the town, one thing on mind
Oh, no I fell into your trance again
Your eyes are digging through my skin
And I want moreYoure breaking this poor boy's mind
Just put him out of his miseryTake me for a ride through devious eyes
And when I wake up tomorrow
These bed sheets tell lies, no words can disguise
And I dont wanna wake up at allI wanna be your rock & roll for old times sake
I know I said I hate those lies

But theyre what keeps me coming backI wanna be your rock & roll for old times sake
I know I said I hate those lies
But theyre what keeps me coming backI wanna be your rock & roll for old times sake
I know I said I hate those lies
But theyre what keeps me coming backTake me for a ride through devious eyes
And when I wake up tomorrowTake me for a ride devious eyes
And when I wake up tomorrow
These bed sheets tell lies, no words can disguise
And I dont wanna wake up at allWake up

A Change of Pace was a five piece rock band from Peoria, Arizona. They formed in 2001 when singer Torry Jasper and drummer Jonathan Kelly began playing together after meeting in a high school English class. In 2003, after a few years of jamming and playing small local shows, bassist Johnny Abdullah and guitarist Adam Rodgers joined the band. From there they put some self-produced recordings on MP3.com where they were discovered by manager Jorge Hernandez. Within a few months they had a deal with Immortal Records and released their EP "Change is the Only Constant".
