I Wanna Thank Ya - Radio Edit Lyrics

Ladies & Gentlemen
This is a Jazze fizzle product-shizzle (Let's do it)
Angie Stone, sing it baby (Ooh, let's do it)
Fo'shizzle, dizzle, and you can't forget about
The big snoopy deegle double gizzle, yeah
(Let's do it, right)
Oh love, I just don't know what it is you do to me
So many ups there's no room to complain
Got me feeling free
And I ain't diggin' nobody but you
Can't take a chance on nobody new
And I'm feelin' everything you do
Your love is gangsta, I want to thank ya
[Chorus]
Love it when you love me baby
Love it when you love me darlin'

Oh, 'cause you know I love you baby
You know I really love you darlin'
Love it when you love me baby
Love it when you love me darlin'
Oh, 'cause you know I love you baby
You know I really love you darlin'
Ahh you know you're my destiny
And I love this chemistry
It keeps on pulling me
Making me see you're the one God fashioned for me
I can't explain how you're makin' me feel
Throw up my hands 'cause this feeling is real
Wiggle 'em around 'cause you're puttin' it down
Your love is gangsta, I want to thank ya
[Chorus]
You give me a natural high
Love me so good, I'm on cloud nine
(You're love) to be the seventh heaven
I consider it a blessing
Many tried but could not get it right
Now I found out that I have up and died
[Chorus]
[Snoop Dogg]
G-A-N-G-S-T-A
From what I see ?cup a whissamus?
We stay together, forever
You see 'cause ever is ever
And never ever would nobody do it better than the "S"
Oh yes, I guess you're blessed
I put the rocks on ya fingers, earrings jingle
No more single, you got a man in ya life
And I understand watcha like
Ya friends don't understand why you be seeing me
But they don't understand that you love the 'G' in me
The way I walk, the way I look, the way I talk
The way we make love in the dark
Some things in life were meant to be
I thank God above that you were sent for me
You see 'cause my point of view, it's all about you
You got to tell me what you want to do
Come into my life
Boy I adore you [I need you, I need you]
Come into my life [Yeah, yeah]
Boy I adore you [Let's do it, let's do it]
Come into my life [I'm down wit it]
Boy I adore you [Yeah, see'mon, see'mon]
Come into my life [Yeah]
Boy I adore you
[I gotta do it, do it, I gotta to do it, do it]
[Chorus until fade]

Angie Stone (born Angela Laverne Brown in January 30, 1961, in Columbia, South Carolina) is a Grammy Award-nominated American R&B, hip-hop, and neo-soul singer and actress. Stone's music possesses a clear old school soul music influence, and her singing vocals recall those of Aretha Franklin.

In the early 1980s, Stone (as 'Angie B'), was a member of The Sequence, the first major female hip-hop group. They had a hit in 1980 with "Funk You Up". She then worked with Mantronix, before teaming up and performing vocals and saxophone for Lenny Kravitz.

Angie Stone emerged during the 1990's as part of hip-hop/R&B trio Vertical Hold which released the popular single "Seems You're Much Too Busy" as well as two albums: A Matter of Time (June 1993) and Head First (1995).

In 1996, she teamed up with Gerry DeVeaux (Lenny Kravitz's cousin from The Bahamas) and together with Charlie Mole they formed Devox. One album received a Japanese-only release including Stone-penned or co-written material.

Angie Stone shared song-writing credits on D'Angelo's first two studio album's (1995 - Brown Sugar and 2000 - Voodoo) as well as providing backing vocals on tour with him.

She released her first solo album, Black Diamond, released on 28 September 1999 via Arista Records. She has since also released, via Clive Davis' J Records, Mahogany Soul on October 16, 2001 and Stone Love on July 6, 2004.

Much of Angie Stone's solo material has a significant hip-hop influence and features notable samples. For example, her first solo single, 1999's "No More Rain (In This Cloud)" samples Gladys Knight & The Pips' 1972 "Neither One Of Us (Want To Be The First To Say Goodbye)", and 2002 "Wish I Didn't Miss You" samples The O'Jays' 1972 "Back Stabbers".

Angie Stone sings the theme song for the UPN sitcom Girlfriends.
She has two children, a daughter and a son. The son is the child of neo-soul singer D'Angelo, whom she dated during the 1990's.
