Dean Coleman brings 10 years of experience to the decks and a flare for on-the-fly remixes which have landed him at some of the hottest spots around the world from Tunisia and Amsterdam from Budapest to New York City. In 2007 he lit up the room to a packed house twice at Crobar in NYC and rocked his yearly appearance at the Winter Music Conference in Miami playing for Deep Dish at their annual Yoshitoshi @ Space Party. Dean is notorious for making an impact on his audience by playing custom edits and unreleased remixes of his favorite cuts while using cutting edge effects and technology to enhance each performance.

Dean began by stricking gold in 2002 with a bootleg of Narcotic Thrusts - Safe From Harm, which was later signed by Deep Dish to their Yoshitoshi imprint. Since 2004, Dean Coleman has been on four Yoshitoshi releases and there are more to come. Dean has already created a discography that many in the industry have taken a lifetime to produce. He produced/remixed for Deep Dish, Erick Morillo, Harry Choo-Choo Romero, Roger Sanchez, Hernan Cattaneo, Josh Wink, Eddie Amador, Julie McKnight, Felix Da Housecat and even Justin Timberlake

Dean produced an original score for a new international TV commercial for PIONEER featuring their revolutionary DVJ-X1 Player. Dean was cast as the starring actor in the commercial, in addition to a production credit, increasing his exposure on the international scene. In that same year Yoshitoshi released their first ever hits compilation entitled House of Yoshi - The Collection mixed by Dean Coleman. Alongside the launch of the album was a massive press and music tour for Yoshitoshi and Deep Dish, sponsored by Pioneer that simultaneously launched their new DJM1000 DJ mixer.

In 2005 Roger Sanchez continued one of the best nights at Pacha in Ibiza as he invited Dean to come and be a part of Release Yourself for the 4th year in a row. Meanwhile Dean's popularity continued to grow with much international acclaim. He added a second Ibiza residency in 2006 opening for Deep Dish and Yoshitoshi, which was an event to remember. Dean has toured the world to hot spots including Brazil, Lebanon, Romania, Russia, Cypress, Portugal, Washington D.C., Montreal and many more. Whether combining ever-futuristic technology, or just rocking the mixer, Dean’s DJ sets are not to be missed. "I always feel at home behind the tables whatever city I'm in. When I DJ I want people to feel like they are a part of what I'm doing and not that I'm there to play to them. I completely vibe off my crowd and the closer I am to them the better!" says Dean. Also in 2005 Dean took on a different side to the music industry by composing his first film score for Angeles Woo daughter of John Woo entitled "Glass Beads" which was shown at the Venice Film Festival.

Dean was featured on APPLE.COM as a leader in the music industry with Apple’s Logic Music Software. His new original tracks and remixes include: "Remember" by Dean Coleman featuring Melanie Denard, on SR2 label; Back 2 Deep by Dean Coleman, on Heavy Rotation; Hypnotic by Dean Coleman feat. IMEAN on SR2. Kontact Part 2 and Juniper St. Beatz Part 2; and a fresh remix for the new Roger Sanchez album entitled "Lost." Along with these hot tracks, Dean completed a side project remixing Sexy Back and My Love for Justin Timberlake and his music was used by Dolce & Gabbana in their 2007 Women’s Spring and 2006 Men’s Fall fashion shows in Milan. While busy in the studio he continued to break into new markets touring worldwide and performing at major festivals such as the Legendary Monegros Monegros Festival in Spain and Fort Dance Festival in Russia.

In 2007 Dean's remix work has been seen on Ultra Records for Cedric Gervais smash 'The Pills' which was featured on Pete Tong's Radio Show. Roger Sanchez imprint label, Stealth has released two remixes , Terranova / Leads 'Dirty Sound' and Elio Riso feat. Mary F 'Be Mine'. Also in 2007 Dean has been hard at work on original projects and will release in Summer 2007 'Shoudda Been There' feat. Janis Leahy a monster vocal project on Gangsta Audio / Armada Music, all while touring non stop throughout the US and worldwide. Dean just remixed Annie Lennox's first single off her new album called 'Sing' which was featured on Pete Tong's BBC 1 Show at the end of August. The very next week Pete featured Dean's remix of Simian Mobile Disco 'Hustler'. Dean also launched an imprint label for his own productions MUSICIZ which can be found exclusively on BEATPORT . In late 2007 his remix of Alcatraz 'Give Me Luv' went 1 on BEATPORT as his other EP LUKABRAZI IS DEAD still was strongly on the charts.

In just the short few months of 2008 Dean has successfully released four songs on his imprint label 'MuSICIZ' . He also completed remixes for Nadia Ali, Sharam (Deepdish), Danny and Nick Chalatien, and Samio. WMC 2008 Dean will release his latest artist single under the band name DCLA called I WANT YOU for Yoshitoshi Recordings. Later this spring Dean will release a unmixed album on Yoshitoshi of his unreleased remixes and some new original material called PRIVATE RESERVE.
