I Will Take You There Lyrics

Can you pick me up, let me in and take me out?
Can you pick me up, let me in take me out?
Can you pick me up, let me in and take me out?
Can you pick me up, let me in take me out?
We break the waves on the brain and the sound
You know you can run without falling down
Have no waiting ground
I will take you there
I will take you there
Brick walls are falling apart at the seams
Nobody knows that you let them tear
Too much to bear
Your face, smiling but desperate to leave
Sowing the seeds of a new despair

Send up your flares
I will take you there
I will take you there
I've got the feeling with you
(I've got the feeling, you've got the feeling too)
I've got the feeling with you
(What we believe in, holding on or letting loose)
For there is no reason
To get in your way
All in due season
I will take you there
I've got the feeling with you
(I've got the feeling, you've got the feeling too)
I've got the feeling with you
(What we believe in, we stop believing too)
I've got the feeling with you
(What we believe in, holding on or letting it loose)
Can you pick me up, let me in, take me out?
Can you pick me up, let me in, take me out?
Can you pick me up, let me in and take me out?
Can you pick me up, let me in and take me out?
(For there is no reason)
Can you pick me up, let me in, take me out?
Can you pick me up, let me in, take me out?
(Yes, there is no reason)
Can you pick me up, let me in and take me out?
Can you pick me up, let me in and take me out?
(For there is no reason)
Can you pick me up, let me in, take me out?
Can you pick me up, let me in, take me out?
(Yes, there is no reason)
Can you pick me up, let me in, take me out?
Can you pick me up, let me in, take me out?

Harry Edward Nilsson III (born June 15, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York - died January 15, 1994), sometimes credited simply as Nilsson, was an American singer-songwriter with a three octave vocal range. He won Grammy Awards for Best Contemporary Male Vocal Performance for "Everybody's Talkin'" (1970) and "Without You" (1973), also his two biggest hits. Although both the aforementioned songs were composed by others, he was a talented songwriter in his own right, having written "One", a hit single for Three Dog Night.
