I Wouldn't Know Lyrics

You always said I'd be burned by you
But I would not listen to you
And now I know just what you meant
I played with fireBut I should have listened to all you said
But you were just too perfect
And I was just too lonely and I took the chance
I took a chanceAnd I'm glad I risked it all for you
'Cause I wouldn't know what love is
If I didn't give my heart away to you
But now I know, now I know, now I knowI've learned so much and now I know
That what I had for you was true love
You're my first true love
And I had to be taught the hard wayI wanted to beg you to stay with me forever
But now it's over
And what I dreamed would happen didn't
I thought that it could work, it couldn't beAnd I'm glad I risked it all for you
'Cause I wouldn't know what love is
If I didn't give my heart away to you

But now I know, now I know, now I knowAnd now I know
Turned my sadness into this smile
And so now the pain is gone

Justifide is a "Christcore" band that formed in 1999 and ended in 2003 when Joey Avalos left the band. The band's music dealt with hard-hitting images and real-world problems. They are not as intense as some CCM musicians (such as P.O.D.), but they have a harder edge than some other Christian bands (such as PAX217). The remaining members of Justifide, brothers Jason and Sambo Moncivaiz, re-formed into a new group, called Reform the Resistance. Beginnings
