There is band called frauke, as well as a german rap/spoken word-artist. 1) The band Frauke has been confusing, amusing, and surprising New York City show goers and music listeners. Some nights, the band claims to be a recent transplant from Germany. Other nights, the band points to its deep Brooklyn roots. Some nights, Frauke is a trio consisting of Tammy, Andrew, and David. Other nights, they are all named Frauke. And to make matters weirder, they all play each others' instruments. Musical prodigies they're not.
