Ice Station Zebra Lyrics

Ice Station Zebra
Paint black the windows
And brick up the door
Tell the CIA and the White House
Not to call here anymore
I am leaving the planet
I am leaving today
So warm up the projector
Get this show on it's way
So roll it again boys
You know what I need
Ice station zebra
And cold war intrigue
And bring me my needle
And send me away

I need to go flying
Just one more time today
And all of my conquests
They now seem so small
And all of my lovers
Never loved me at all
And all of my power
And all of my greed
Brought me to this dungeon
Where there is no reprieve
So roll it again boys
Give me something to believe
Ice station zebra
And cold war intrigue
And bring me my needle
And send me away
I need to go flying
Just one more time today
It's too late to change it
And there's nothing more to say
Take away the pain and the madness
Come on boys earn your pay
You can have all the money
Build your temples of gold
But don't count on salvation
Your soul's already sold
So roll it again boys
Aint it something to see
Ice station zebra
And cold war intrigue
And bring me my needle
And send me away
I need to go flying
Just one more time today
So bring me that needle
'Cause I think it's today
And it's a good day for flying
Flying away
