Idaho Lyrics

All that love all those mistakes What else can a poor man make? So I gave up a life of crime I gave it to a friend of mine Something else was on my mind The only ghost I?m haunted by I hear her howling down below Idaho oh Idaho
Wolves oh wolves oh can?t you see? Ain?t no wolf can sing like me And if it could then I suppose He belongs in Idaho Packs of dogs and cigarettes For those who ain?t done packing yet My clothes are packed and I want to go Idaho oh Idaho
Out at sea for seven years I got your letter in Tangier Thought that I?d been on a boat ?Til that single word you wrote That single word it landlocked me Turned the masts to cedar trees And the winds to gravel roads Idaho oh Idaho

Afroman (born Joseph Edgar Foreman, on 28 July 1974 in Mississippi) is a rap artist from South-Central Los Angeles, California, but later moved to eastern Palmdale (which he has referred to in his songs).

His best-known song is the 2001 hit "Because I Got High", which gained popularity through Napster, local radio play, a feature on Howard Stern's radio show, and the "stoner" movie 'Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back' (and accompanying soundtrack). His other most popular song, "Crazy Rap", is often refered to as "Colt 45", because of its lyrics, "Colt 45 and two Zig Zags".

Afroman is also fond of referencing his independence from record labels and the "corporate world" and cites himself as an example of how an artist can take recording and distribution into their own hands.
